We are now looking for a surveyor for our departments within civil engineering design of power lines and substations.

You will work in an interdisciplinary electrical/civil engineering environment with skilled colleagues, where you will mainly carry out surveying assignments for power lines, but also substations/switchgear. You will be involved in decision-making processes, and act both as project manager and team member.

Students and recent outdoors graduates are encouraged to apply. You become part of our construction engineering environment where we exchange knowledge with each other. It is a busy working environment and you must be willing to work independently at times.

The tasks as a surveyor at Jøsok will be varied and exciting:

Fieldwork

• Staking out power line routes
• Placement of mast sites
• Surveying of sites for transformer and substation sites
• Simple ground surveys
• Assistance in connection with condition check of existing facilities
• 3D scanning

Project planning

• Prepare length profile and mast location profile
• Mass calculation of construction pit
• Route assessments
• Contact with landowners and preparation of land agreements

Project management

• Project management – we also use our subject specialists as project managers
• Report writing, investigations

Other

• Participate in improvement work (quality assurance, document management, etc.)
